Ontario Fishing Trip Rates for 2010

Housekeeping Trip Package

The housekeeping package is for 6 days and starts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday with departure scheduled by 10:00 a.m. the following Friday. Wenasaga's fishing lodge offers a lakeside log cabin cottage that is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for light housekeeping. Cottage assignment will depend on the size of your party.

Your cabin has a three-piece bath, electric refrigerator, microwave, and gas range for cooking as well as a wood stove for heating. Cooking utensils, bed linens, and towels are provided with a towel change twice a week.

For every two to three guests we provide a 16 foot Lund boat with a 15 HP outboard motor, all gas and bait, swivel seats, paddles, anchor, landing net, and bait bucket. Should you desire to bring your own boat and motor, the package rate applies and we will provide you with a free dock space and up to 18 U.S. gallons of gas. If you are interested in even more remote fishing trips in Ontario, we include a day at any of our remote outlakes at no additional charge. These lakes are an easy drive from Lake Wenasaga.

The following rates are based on a minimum party of three guests. Parties with a total of two guests will need to add $35 per person.

Fishing two per boat is $570.00 per person *
Fishing three per boat is $545.00 per person *

* Rates include free gas and bait. Same trip rates as 2009. Fishing season begins May 15th.

Family Trip Package - Special Rates

The family package at our fishing lodge is for 6 days and is only available during July and August. It starts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday with the departure scheduled by 10:00 a.m. the following Friday. We offer a two-bedroom lakeside log cabin, which is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for light housekeeping.

There are two bedrooms off the main room with a double bed in the first and a double and single in the second. There is a fourth bed in the main room, which serves as a couch during the day.

Also included is a 16 foot Lund boat with a 15 hp outboard motor, all gas and bait, swivel seats, paddles, anchor, landing net, and bait bucket.

Should you desire to bring your own boat and motor, the package rate applies and we will provide you with a free dock space and up to 18 U.S. gallons of gas. If you are interested in even more remote fishing trips, we include a day-long trip on any of our outlakes at no additional charge.

Price per family: $1,225.00 *

* Rates include free gas and bait. Same trip rates as 2009.
- Definition of family: For the above package a family is described as two adults and children (17 years old and younger). Should you wish to accommodate additional adults, we have larger cottages available. Housekeeping package rates will apply for additional adults. This package is available for the months of July and August.

Check-in and Deposits

Check-in time upon arrival is at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Checkout is at 10:00 a.m. the following Friday. A deposit of $150 per adult is required to confirm your reservation. Deposits are refunded at our discretion.

All rates are quoted in U.S. funds and subject to sales tax. All payments accepted by cash or check. We apologize for any inconvenience but we do not accept credit cards.
